Adobe has launched its full suite of Firefly audio generation tools, including 'Generate Music,' 'Generate Voice,' and 'Generate Sound Effects.' These tools allow users to create commercially usable audio content directly within the Firefly desktop and mobile web applications, integrating AI audio capabilities into the video creation workflow. A survey conducted by Adobe and the Berklee College of Music revealed that 100% of video creators, musicians, and marketers use music in their videos, with 32.7% already utilizing AI-generated music. The survey also highlighted that 43.2% of respondents cited legal and copyright risks, while 38.9% considered licensing fees as a major obstacle. To address these concerns, Firefly's 'Generate Music' offers original, fully licensed music based on video content, atmosphere, rhythm, and duration, with four editing options available for users. Adobe confirmed that generated content can be used in commercial projects without requiring additional subscriptions. The 'Generate Voice' tool converts scripts into natural narration, supporting both Adobe Firefly and ElevenLabs voice models, with options to adjust expressiveness and pronunciation. 'Generate Sound Effects' enables users to create sound effects based on text prompts or recorded sounds, aligning with visual action, rhythm, and atmosphere. Adobe is also expanding the Firefly third-party model ecosystem by integrating Gemini Omni Flash, which combines video, audio, and image creation. Previously, Firefly had integrated Runway Aleph2.0 and Kling2.0, and now the platform includes models from Google, Kling AI, Luma AI, OpenAI, Runway, and Adobe. Adobe is enhancing Firefly's one-stop AI creation workflow by incorporating multiple models and multimodal audio-visual capabilities.
