AI art festival launches at 2026 bund conference in shanghai

The 2026 Inclusion · Bund Conference, held in Shanghai from September 9 to 12, marked the debut of its first AI Art Festival. The event featured three main sections: an AI Concept Art Exhibition, AI Film Screening, and AI Music Concert. The AI Concept Art Exhibition, titled 'Entanglement, Then Day Becomes Night,' showcased works from over 20 artists, including Gene Kogan, Guo Ruwen, and Luo Xiao. Notably, the AARON system, developed by Harold Cohen, created the piece 'AARON at Tsukuba, #219-3-85,' which is the only known work signed by the AI system. The film section, 'Other Space,' collaborated with platforms like MiniMax and KeLing AI, presenting over 100 global AI films. The AI ink painting short film 'One Thought' won the Best AI Short Film Award at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Film Festival and was screened at Cannes. Additionally, the AI virtual idol Yuri Yuli will perform at a live concert on September 11, alongside the band 'Landlord's Cat' and the Shanghai Huili Kindergarten Choir.
