Ai-generated text appears in print edition of online novel, publisher issues recall

A reader recently discovered an AI-generated sentence in the physical edition of the online novel 'The Road to the End,' which was absent from the original online version. The sentence, 'Do you need me to adjust some sentences to make the overall style more consistent with the atmosphere of mystery and supernatural?' sparked public speculation about an error during the publishing process. Jiangsu Phoenix Literature and Art Publishing House, the publisher of the book, confirmed the issue stemmed from the manuscript passing through multiple hands during editing and proofreading. The publisher has decided to recall and destroy all distributed copies of the book and will re-edit the content before reissuing it. The publisher emphasized that the error was not attributable to the author.
