AI pioneers discuss revolutionizing chip design at techcrunch disrupt 2026

At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, Ricursive Intelligence co-founders Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini will explore how AI is transforming chip design. The startup aims to reduce chip development time from two to three years to just weeks by using AI to automate and accelerate the process. Goldie and Mirhoseini previously co-led AlphaChip at Google, which generated chip layouts in hours. Ricursive has raised $335 million at a $4 billion valuation, with Nvidia among its investors. The company plans to expand AI’s role in chip design, from component placement to verification, to enable new architectures and more efficient AI.
