Alibaba cloud launches Qovest, an AI research platform tailored for professional investors

Alibaba Cloud has released Qovest, an AI-powered investment research workbench designed specifically for professional financial institutions. This platform allows users to pose research queries in natural language, enabling Qovest to automatically gather data, collect materials, conduct in-depth analysis, and generate comprehensive reports. A key feature distinguishing it from simple Q&A tools is its ability to archive research outcomes within a dedicated research space, allowing for continuous, iterative analysis. Qovest integrates an authoritative financial database and utilizes an in-house Agent engineering framework, noted as Harness, to manage the entire workflow from data retrieval to final output. The system supports customizable research, such as mapping the value chain of humanoid robots or calculating the investment scale for data center power facilities based on adjustable assumptions. Users can also integrate their personal trading notes and set up scheduled tasks. The product is currently open for trial access for individual users. New registrants receive complimentary credits for testing, with subsequent subscription options available at ¥99 or ¥199 per month.
