Alibaba's qwen office launches industry's first 'multi-user workspace' for collaboration

On September 7, 2026, Alibaba Cloud announced the release of Qwen Office's first 'Multi-User Workspace,' a tool that allows users to generate and publish a web page supporting up to 100 simultaneous collaborators. This feature is designed for scenarios such as event coordination, parent-teacher collaboration, and enterprise teamwork, addressing the high costs of SaaS software and the time required for custom development. The workspace includes role permissions, cloud database, management dashboard, and online publishing capabilities, enabling complex business processes. Users can configure different access levels for administrators and members, store data centrally, and publish pages with a single click. The tool simplifies tasks like school communication, influencer campaigns, and store openings by integrating multiple steps into one platform. Previously, businesses needed months to develop custom software, but now they can create tools using natural language, adapting quickly to changes in workflows.
