Alipay introduces AI wallet agent to enhance trust in payments

At the 2026 Outward Bound Conference, Alipay announced the expansion of its AI payment capabilities, moving from 'payable' to 'trustworthy payment.' The company will introduce an AI wallet agent to help users manage AI payments effectively. Alipay's 'AI Pay' now includes three new features: 'AI Cycle Purchase,' 'AI Help You Grab,' and 'AI Help You Book,' tailored for e-commerce scenarios. These features are built on the APASS infrastructure, which ensures trust through KYA principles, focusing on identity, intent, authorization, and behavior. Alipay and Ant International are offering a one-stop business system for AI professionals, enabling global payment services in over 200 countries with one integration. This initiative aims to serve more than 2 billion users and 150 million merchants worldwide.
