Alipay unveils ai-powered robotic dog for payments
On September 11, Alipay announced a partnership with Gaode Momentum, introducing the first AI payment system integrated into an embodied machine. The product, named 'AI Pay · Embodied Intelligence,' has been humorously dubbed 'Dog Leg Pay' by netizens.
The Gaode Momentum robotic dog 'Tutu' can execute errands and complete payments based on user instructions, effectively performing tasks like purchasing soy sauce with the owner's authorization. According to Alipay, the 'AI Pay' system utilizes the APASS commercial trust infrastructure developed by Ant Group.
This framework, based on the KYA (Know Your Agent) concept, establishes a trust mechanism around the identity, intent, authorization, and behavior of intelligent agents, enabling AI payments to transition from 'being able to pay' to 'paying with trust.'
