Alipay's AI assistant introduces break management system for office workers

Alipay's AI assistant, Abao, has launched a new feature called 'Yulai,' designed to help office workers manage fragmented break times. The system allows users to summon a 'fish' by saying 'Yulai' to Abao, select a 'destined fish,' and set daily break reminders. The process involves three steps: giving an instruction, naming the task, and enabling notification permissions. Abao's team stated that traditional break times were unstructured, with no plan or rhythm. 'Yulai' aims to reorganize these scattered rest periods through AI capabilities, making each short break part of the work rhythm. The feature is currently available within Alipay, and users can access it by swiping right. Abao's asynchronous task capabilities are evolving from single tools to scenario-based services, offering long-term assistance and improving efficiency for office workers. The system reflects a digital response to the 'right to rest' for employees.
