Aliyun's qoder launches mobile use plugin to enable cross-platform agent testing
On September 11, 2026, Aliyun's Qoder announced the release of the Mobile Use plugin (Beta), enabling Android, HarmonyOS, and iOS code modifications to be tested directly on devices.
The plugin allows developers to verify if changes are effective in real-world scenarios, addressing issues such as whether the app builds successfully and if user interactions align with expected outcomes.
Qoder emphasized that each platform has distinct engineering structures, build tools, simulators, and testing frameworks, and the plugin does not force a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, it provides a unified Skill and CLI interface for agents to access platform-specific capabilities.
The company noted that if a platform lacks a specific feature, Mobile Use will clearly communicate this rather than falsely indicating success. Developers can continue using their existing environments without needing dedicated test devices for the Agent.
