AMD unveils over 20 ryzen AI max+ pro 495 devices, mini pcs lead the charge
AMD announced at the Ryzen AI Max media event that more than 20 devices powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor will launch soon. The majority of these models are mini PCs, with HP being an exception by introducing a new generation of ZBook Ultra mobile workstations based on the 'Gorgon Halo' platform.
Known models include the N5MAX-P495 and MS-S1MAX-P495 from Mingfan, the EVO-X5Pro from Jimo Ke, and the ThinkCentre X Ultra from Lenovo. These products have been previously reported, with earlier versions like the Xiwei R1Max from the 'Strix Halo' generation.
AMD aims to strengthen its position in the high-performance mini PC market with the PRO495, positioning mini PCs as the mainstay of its product line.
