Anthropic extends claude code weekly usage boost for pro, max, and team users

Anthropic has announced that starting September 14, 2026, Pro, Max, Team, and enterprise users on a per-seat basis will see their standard weekly Claude Code limit permanently increased by 25%. The temporary 50% boost, which has been in effect since August 14, will remain in place until September 13, after which it will be replaced by the new permanent baseline. Under the current temporary policy, users have access to 150% of the original standard limit, while the new permanent limit will be 125%. This change means a reduction of approximately 17% in weekly capacity compared to the current temporary boost. The update follows previous announcements regarding the automatic mode adjustment for Pro, Max, and Team users.
