Anthropic launches enhanced AI tools for enterprise automation

Anthropic has officially launched its updated Computer use, Skills API, and Files API on the Claude platform, making them fully available for enterprise use. The release includes a new Browser use tool that enables direct interaction with web elements, improving automation efficiency. The Computer use function now supports multiple actions in a single model call, reducing task completion time and call count. It also complies with HIPAA standards, allowing its use in regulated healthcare environments under a BAA. The Skills API allows enterprises to upload and manage proprietary skill folders, including industry-standard instructions, scripts, and templates, securely within Claude's code execution sandbox. The Files API provides dedicated storage for agents to handle documents, supporting file uploads such as PDFs and spreadsheets, with automatic expiration and increased rate limits. The updated tools will soon be available on Google Cloud's Vertex AI, enabling developers and enterprises across industries to leverage the toolchain for advanced automation in complex business processes.
