ASUS has established a new Physical AI (Physical AI) business group to capitalize on the robotics market. The company also announced a rebranding of its AIOT IoT business group, which will be renamed 'Physical AI Solutions Business Group' (PAS BG) starting September 1. This restructuring is part of ASUS's All in AI strategy, introduced by chairman施崇棠 in 2024, aiming to transform the company into a fully AI-driven entity. In an internal letter, co-CEOs许先越 and胡书宾 emphasized the importance of this move as AI transitions into real-world systems. The new PAS BG will be led by张权德 and许佑嘉, combining the AI Solutions, Autonomous Platforms, and Humanoid Robotics divisions. ASUS estimates the Physical AI market will reach $1.1 trillion by 2035, prompting the company to prioritize this area as a key growth strategy. The shift reflects ASUS's strategic move from 'device connectivity' to enabling AI in the physical world. The company's focus on humanoid robots is set to launch in September, marking a significant step in its AI expansion. This initiative aligns with broader industry trends, as ASUS seeks to maintain its competitive edge in the evolving AI landscape.
