On October 19, 2026, Big Xiao Robotics unveiled its visual spatial anchoring enhanced embodied base model, ACE-Brain-0.6. The model was fine-tuned using Qwen3.5-9B and focuses on improving target recognition, spatial positioning, and interaction area judgment. According to Big Xiao, the model was trained on approximately one million spatial anchoring samples and outperformed OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra in six out of eight Grounding evaluations. In seven public benchmarks, it achieved an average score of 74.53, surpassing Astra's 73.68. In the real-world robot scenario evaluation, RobotGrounding, it scored 94.13, exceeding Astra's 91.10. Big Xiao Robotics, founded by Shangtang Technology co-founder Wang Xiaogang, specializes in physical AI applications. The company has developed its own ACE research paradigm and the 'Kaiwu' world model. As of October 2026, it has completed several hundred million dollars in financing and is considered a key new business within the Shangtang ecosystem in the field of embodied intelligence.
