Bilibili launches index-translate multilingual translation models supporting 150 languages

On September 30, 2026, Bilibili's Index LLM team launched the Index-Translate model family, making available 2B, 9B, and 35B-A3B text model weights on Hugging Face and ModelScope. The models are built on Qwen3.5 and support translation across 150 languages, including Chinese and English, with features such as terminology, formatting, and content preservation. Index-NativeLong, or Index-Nailong, handles full documents by maintaining context. The 9B model, Index-Homura-9B, demonstrates varied outputs for the same sentence with different target lengths.
