On September 14, 2026, Blue Bug, a technology enterprise from Xi'an Jiaotong University, unveiled its new modular humanoid robot, Mantis Standard 'Xiaobai', starting at 9,800 yuan. The robot is described as a versatile embodied intelligent platform capable of transforming into various forms. It features a modular design with standard components for the chassis, arms, waist, and head, connected via quick-installation interfaces. Technical specifications include 22 degrees of freedom, a single arm load capacity of 7kg, an arm span of 663mm, and a remote operation delay under 10ms. The waist has a 550mm vertical range, while the chassis supports full-directional movement with three degrees of freedom, achieving a forward speed of 3m/s and a vertical speed of 200mm/s. The robot has a 3-hour battery life and stands 1.4m tall. Blue Bug claims the robot integrates with mainstream embodied development ecosystems and is ready for immediate use, offering tools, tutorials, and technical support for research and training.
