ByteDance unveils Seedance film collaboration program with token subsidies and up to 1 million rmb per project

On September 27, during the 10th Pingyao International Film Festival, ByteDance's Volcanic Engine launched the Seedance Film Collaboration Program, offering token subsidies, marketing resources, and technical support to global film projects, with incentives reaching up to 1 million RMB per project. The initiative emphasizes full video generation using Seedance, with the model deeply integrated into the creative process. It also supports projects that merge AI with traditional filmmaking, aiming for innovation in production methods and workflows. ByteDance introduced Seedance 2.5 in July, enhancing long narrative and multi-modal editing capabilities, allowing video generation up to 30 seconds with multi-round extensions. The model can organize multiple logically connected shots within 30 seconds, enabling a structured storytelling flow.
