Bytedance's Seedance model sees 50% overseas revenue share; tencent and bilibili among key domestic clients

Reports indicate that ByteDance's video generation model, Seedance, has reached a 50% share of its revenue derived from international markets. Sources close to Volcano Engine suggest that Seedance's revenue in overseas markets has expanded by nearly fivefold over the past six months, establishing international markets as a critical area of focus for the model. In the domestic sector, Tencent ranks among the top three clients for Seedance in China, while Bilibili has entered the top ten, signaling that major internet corporations are increasingly adopting the technology. Furthermore, Volcano Engine previously announced a Seedance film cooperation plan during the 10th Pingyao International Film Festival on September 27th, offering global professional film projects token subsidies and support up to one million RMB per project. More recently, on October 23rd, Volcano Engine released Seedance 2.5 4K. This advanced version was specifically trained to better capture nuances in human expressions, subtle movements, and visual details, positioning it as the strongest model in the Seedance 2.5 generation.
