At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, Cerebras Systems CEO Andrew Feldman will address the challenges of scaling AI, focusing on compute, energy, and infrastructure demands. Feldman, who co-founded Cerebras in 2015, has spent over a decade developing wafer-scale computing, a radical departure from conventional chip architectures. The company, which raised $5.5 billion in its May IPO, has signed a multiyear deal with OpenAI to deploy 750 megawatts of its systems from 2026 to 2028. Cerebras recently launched its CS-4 system and is expanding its data center capacity, with over 600 megawatts live or under contract by the end of 2027. The company is also increasing manufacturing capacity tenfold in 2026 and plans to launch its first European data center this year. Feldman will explore the future of AI scaling and the potential limits of current hardware at the event, which runs October 13-15 in San Francisco.
