China launches AI anti-fraud assistant app with wechat and alipay integration
On September 6, 2026, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security announced the official launch of the 'National Anti-Fraud AI' app, developed by the Shanghai Public Security Bureau under the guidance of the Ministry's Criminal Investigation Bureau. The app integrates large language models, multimodal technologies, and intelligent agents to help users identify and prevent fraud by analyzing suspicious scenarios and providing risk assessments, scam pattern recognition, and case studies.
The app features AI-powered question-answering, real-time video case associations, and anti-fraud knowledge learning. It also includes a news section with updates from the National Anti-Fraud Center and Shanghai's '803' anti-fraud media, as well as an anti-fraud dictionary with downloadable guides. The app is now available on major app stores and via WeChat and Alipay mini-programs.
