China unicom and Meizu launch ai-powered 'small magic cube' phone with voice-first design

China Unicom and Meizu have launched the 'Small Magic Cube' AI phone, featuring a 4-inch square display and a focus on voice-based interaction. The device runs on a cloud-native operating system called Yunzhi OS and weighs 99 grams. It supports full voice control, AI services, and cloud collaboration. The phone also includes features like AI translation, voice-to-text transcription, and emotion recognition during calls. The 'Small Magic Cube' allows users to switch between local and cloud-based phone identities, enabling seamless data and application synchronization. It offers 2TB of cloud storage. Meizu previously unveiled the AI 'Small Cube' concept at the Tencent WorkBuddy event, and the device is expected to go into mass production with a T8200 processor and 4-inch screen.
