China unifies national computing power monitoring to facilitate 31 provincial integration
China has established a unified computing power monitoring platform, enabling nationwide integration of computing resources across 31 provinces and regions. The platform, a national-level service, now supports over 10,000 registered enterprises and offers more than 2,000 computing products. It also connects over 300 large models, providing developers with computing power access. According to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the platform has created a standardized, efficient monitoring system, allowing for clear visibility of computing resources and real-time tracking of their usage.
Industrial and Information Technology Minister Zhong Zhihong revealed that by June 2026, China's intelligent computing capacity reached 2,185 EFLOPS, a 177% increase from the previous year. The platform, guided by the Ministry, aims to enhance computing power utilization through automation and data-driven insights, addressing challenges like fragmented resource distribution and regional coordination issues.
