During a press conference held by the National Development and Reform Commission on November 3, the commission highlighted that China currently maintains a global lead in both the speed of artificial intelligence development and its scale of application. Wang Ruomeng, Deputy Director of the Innovation and High-Tech Development Department at the National Development and Reform Commission, detailed the practical integration of AI, noting its transition from research labs into industrial settings, fields, and offices. In the service sector, intelligent agents are automating tasks such as contract review, customs declaration, tax filing, and claims assessment in finance, logistics, and foreign trade, leading to new business models like 'employee + agent'. Furthermore, the nation is actively advancing the institutionalization of the World AI Cooperation Organization, which currently includes 38 founding member countries. A recent report from the China Institute for Electronic Information Industry Development indicated that China's AI inference data volume has surpassed its training data volume for the first time, signaling a shift from the model training research phase to large-scale industrial deployment.
