On August 29, 2026, IT Home reported that China's first mobile onboard token factory has recently been unveiled. This innovative system integrates domestic computing power and energy management, offering a more flexible solution for AI computing demands while exploring a new model of synergy between computing and energy. The mobile token factory is built on a standardized 40-foot container, featuring an integrated design of computing, storage, and networking. It can support up to nine server cabinets and quickly form a mobile computing cluster with a deployment time of 6-8 hours.
The vehicle can deliver between 50P and 100P of computing power under 120 kW of power, theoretically supporting two large domestic models for inference tasks. When renewable energy is abundant and electricity prices are low, the computing vehicle can be deployed near a substation to enhance renewable energy consumption and reduce operational costs by about 25%. Additionally, the mobile token factory can provide emergency computing power and flexible nearby computing for large infrastructure projects, meeting the demand for low-latency computing.
