Chinese internet foundation corpus 4.0 released: 120gb of data supports large model training and AI development
On September 15, 2026, the Chinese Internet Foundation Corpus 4.0 was officially released at the 2026 National Cybersecurity Promotion Week Artificial Intelligence Safety Governance Forum in Jinan. The dataset, totaling 120GB, is now available on the 'Chinese Internet Corpus Resource Platform.'
The initiative, led by the China Cybersecurity Association under the guidance of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, involved collaboration with major companies such as Baidu, Kuaishou, and iFlytek. The corpus was developed through a shared data mechanism and rigorous processing to ensure quality and reliability.
A representative from the China Cybersecurity Association emphasized that the release marks a significant milestone in the collaborative effort to build high-quality Chinese language resources, further strengthening the data foundation for AI development.
