Claude now integrates with apple carplay, enabling voice queries while driving

Anthropic has announced that its Claude AI assistant now supports Apple CarPlay, allowing iPhone users to interact with the AI hands-free while driving. The update, shared on X on October 29, 2026, enables users to ask questions via voice without taking their hands off the wheel. IT Home reported the news, highlighting that the integration is part of a broader update to the Claude mobile app, which now supports iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, and desktop platforms. Additional features include a pull-down search function for iOS and iPad users, allowing quick access to past conversations and settings. On iPad and iPhone Duo, Claude content can be displayed side-by-side, with the option to switch to full-screen view. The app also supports multiple account logins on both iOS and Android, with seamless switching between accounts. Anthropic also expanded Claude’s language support, adding 24 new languages to bring the total to 33, including several South Asian and European languages. Voice recognition has been improved for noisy environments and non-English accents, with broader support across Android devices.
