Crusoe CEO calls for better data center communication
Crusoe CEO Chase Lochmiller highlighted the company's recent $4 billion funding round, which has pushed its valuation to nearly $31 billion. The funding will support Crusoe's expansion into AI infrastructure, covering data centers, cloud computing, and managed AI services.
Lochmiller also mentioned the possibility of the company entering the public markets. He addressed growing opposition to data centers, arguing the industry faces a 'marketing issue' and needs to better communicate its positive impacts, including contributions to water management, job creation, and local tax revenue.
The discussion took place during an interview with Ed Ludlow on 'Bloomberg Tech.' (Source: Bloomberg)
