DeepSeek releases v0.1.5 update with enhanced compatibility and new features

DeepSeek has released version 0.1.5 of its Harness, which is now deeply integrated with the DeepSeek V4.1 Flash model training. The model has been specifically trained and optimized for different configurations of the Harness, including standard mode, programmatic tool call (PTC) mode, and minimal mode. The update also supports updating system prompts while retaining existing KV Cache. The new version introduces file processing and preview capabilities, allowing users to upload and view various file types such as images, PDFs, and Markdown through the Web interface. Additionally, the Sidebar now supports browsing the workspace file tree and previewing multiple formats. The update also enhances plugin expansion, enabling standardized plugin entries and improved interaction between the interface and content panels. Long session performance has been optimized, with improvements in loading, recovery, and continuous conversation performance. The update also includes sub-agent communication features, allowing bidirectional communication between parent agents and sub-agents. An experimental feature called Agent Teams enables task splitting and tracking through shared lists, though it is disabled by default and requires command-line activation.
