On September 2, 2026, Doubao Work, a new AI-powered productivity tool launched by ByteDance's Doubao brand on August 25, 2026, unveiled two new features: 'Multi-Agents Parallel' and 'Mac OS Computer Operation.' The 'Multi-Agents Parallel' function allows the AI to summon different sub-Agents to handle separate modules within a single task, significantly reducing time while enabling simultaneous task completion. The 'Mac OS Computer Operation' feature enables the AI to perform local GUI operations without relying on MCP, API, plugins, or CLI. According to IT Home, Doubao Work is positioned as ByteDance's unified product entry for AI office scenarios.
