Firefox introduces ai-powered form-filling feature in smart window

Mozilla has enhanced its Smart Window feature in Firefox, integrating AI to assist users in filling out online forms. The update leverages open tabs to extract information, such as work history from LinkedIn or an online portfolio, to populate job applications. Users can activate the feature by interacting with a form containing at least four text fields, where they can select sources for data extraction. The browser then generates suggestions based on the selected tabs. This development marks a significant step in Firefox's AI-driven browsing experience, aiming to streamline user interactions with digital forms. The feature is currently available for testing, offering a practical application of AI in everyday web browsing. The update reflects Mozilla's ongoing efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into its browser, enhancing user convenience and efficiency. By drawing from multiple tabs, the AI form-filling tool provides a tailored experience, reducing manual input. This innovation aligns with broader industry trends of leveraging AI to improve user engagement and productivity. Mozilla's approach emphasizes user control, allowing selective tab inclusion for data gathering. The feature's availability for testing underscores Mozilla's commitment to iterative development and user feedback in refining its AI capabilities.
