Former infosys leader launches AI startup with $53m funding boost
Hang Ten Systems, an AI startup founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka in May 2026, has secured an additional $53 million in funding, bringing its total to $85 million. The investment, led by Temasek’s Xora, includes participation from Mayfield, Aramco Ventures, and other notable figures.
Sikka emphasized that AI is shifting software development from coding to defining requirements and validating performance. Within 25 days of a customer meeting, Hang Ten signed a multimillion-dollar contract, showcasing rapid enterprise deal closures.
The startup now works with 21 major enterprises, including Saudi Aramco and Siemens Energy, and plans to expand its teams globally. Hang Ten’s approach focuses on adapting AI for complex enterprise software processes using its in-house framework, Hobie, and aims to replace traditional systems integrators with faster, more cost-effective solutions.
Despite acquisition interest, Sikka prioritizes business growth, highlighting the startup’s unique position in the AI market.
