Framework launches new high-end modular pc with AMD ryzen AI processor
Framework, a modular PC manufacturer, has launched a new configuration of its Framework Desktop mini PC, available for pre-order. The system is based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 'Gorgon Halo' processor and includes 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory.
The motherboard alone costs $6,469, while a DIY version with no storage or basic accessories is priced at $6,799. The system supports Linux only and features a range of high-speed connectivity options, including PCIe Gen4 ×4, M.2 SSD slots, Wi-Fi 7, and multiple USB and display ports.
The pre-order launch occurred on September 30, 2026, with pricing converted to approximately 43,451 RMB and 45,668 RMB respectively.
