Global quadruped robot shipments surpass 35,000 units in first half of 2026

Counterpoint Research reported that global shipments of quadruped robots reached approximately 35,000 units in the first half of 2026, representing three-quarters of the total 2025 annual volume. Of these, 40% were directed toward vertical industrial applications. Chinese manufacturers continue to dominate the market, with Unitree, AGIQUAD, Genisom AI, and DEEP Robotics collectively holding the majority of market share. Unitree focuses on entertainment, education, and research, while AGIQUAD specializes in core industrial applications and is among the fastest-growing brands in 2026. Genisom AI shipped over 1,000 units of its 'Copper Mallet' series, and DEEP Robotics also emphasizes industrial use. Counterpoint predicts global shipments will exceed 90,000 units in 2026, with revenue doubling to $1.5 billion. By 2030, the market could surpass $100 billion, achieving a 60% CAGR.
