Google launches ai-powered virtual closet inspired by 'clueless'

Google has launched an AI-powered virtual closet feature in Google Photos, now available on Android and iOS in the U.S., Brazil, and India. The feature, inspired by Cher’s virtual wardrobe in the film 'Clueless,' uses AI to analyze photos of outfits and create a digital wardrobe. Users can filter items by category and mix-and-match to create new outfits. The rollout began earlier this year, with Android users gaining access in June, followed by iOS users. Google emphasized that user data is not shared with third parties. The update comes alongside other Google Photos enhancements, including Gemini Spark for photo editing and new 'Moods' filters for Android.
