Hamro introduces helloworld, a generative driving world model for autonomous vehicles
On October 13, 2026, Hamro announced the release of HelloWorld, a generative driving world model designed for autonomous vehicle development. The model integrates scene control, continuous generation, multi-sensor observation, and efficient reasoning capabilities. It allows developers to construct scenarios based on natural language descriptions or direct edits of vehicle, pedestrian, and motion trajectories, generating multi-perspective videos and LiDAR data. This enables the simulation of complex situations such as crossing pedestrians, adjusted vehicle paths, and weather conditions like rain and snow.
According to Hamro, the model also provides a natural language interface for scenario creation. Users can describe their desired scenarios, and the system will organize the necessary conditions and invoke the model to generate content. This includes scenarios like construction zones, heavy traffic, and pedestrian crossings, along with various weather and lighting conditions. The model aims to address long-tail scenarios that are difficult to capture through real-world data collection.
