Harmonyos 7 introduces AI quick panel feature set for october release

On October 12, 2026, IT Home reported that Huawei unveiled HarmonyOS 7 during a September 7 event showcasing the HUAWEI Mate XT 2 and other new products. The system features Harmony Intelligence, a new architecture that supports the system-level AI assistant, Xiaoyi, integrating four-layer memory architecture, application Skills, cloud and on-device large models, and seamless multi-device collaboration. During the event, Huawei previewed a new feature: Xiaoyi AI Quick Panel, which will reside permanently at the bottom of the phone's home screen. The official previously did not disclose the release date, but IT Home learned from Huawei's customer service that the AI Quick Panel will be rolled out in October, with phased distribution based on device models. The feature is part of HarmonyOS 7's new capabilities, enhancing user interaction with AI-driven functions.
