On September 1, 2026, it was announced that Zhi Fangfang Technology had deployed its AlphaBot 2 robot at a bar in Langguifang, marking the first real-world service robot in Hong Kong. The robot, named 'Aibao,' is now serving as a bartender, offering cocktail-making and interactive services to customers. According to Zhi Fangfang, this represents the first productivity-focused general-purpose robot to operate at an international nightlife landmark, and signifies the company's successful completion of the full chain of China's embodied intelligence going global. The robot is equipped with a proprietary neuro-inspired architecture called NeuroVLA, which mimics the coordination mechanisms of the human brain's cortex, cerebellum, and spinal cord. This system enables the robot to continuously perceive, understand, decide, and adjust its actions in complex environments. Experimental data shows that NeuroVLA reduces robot motion jitter by over 75%, allows for a 20-millisecond reflex response after a collision, and consumes only about 0.4 watts of power.
