Humanoid robot joins li auto as tour guide and performer

A humanoid robot developed by the company Yu Shi Technology has been officially hired by Li Auto, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, to take on roles such as tour guide and host. The robot, named 'Benben,' will begin its duties on August 23 at the Beijing Automotive Museum, where it will greet visitors and provide explanations about the Li Auto L9 Livis model. After each film screening, Benben will also surprise audiences with a dance performance. In addition to its role at the museum, Benben will participate in special performances at Zhuhai Changlong Ocean World from August 30 to 31, where it will perform alongside the L9 Livis and other robots, showcasing acrobatic skills. The robot will also join the daily 3 p.m. parade, interacting with visitors of all ages. Benben's schedule will continue on September 5 and 6 at the Li Auto Zhengzhou East Station IP Experience Center, where it will serve as a tour guide, welcoming guests and offering detailed explanations of the L8 Livis and L9 Livis models. The robot will also demonstrate its capabilities in vehicle chassis development and motion control technology.
