According to Sanket, the AI agent reduces the number of reasoning steps required for complex tasks, leading to more efficient and accurate results. This advancement is particularly impactful in color work, where Astra must navigate multiple approaches such as correction, grading, and isolation. Sanket noted that the success rate for color-grading tasks improved about three times with Astra. Invideo editors also reported the ability to generate around 50 custom effects in a single day using GPT-6 Astra, which translates descriptions and visual references into tailored effects. The AI agent codes these effects, places them on the timeline, and adds controls for refinement, allowing editors to maintain creative control without spending excessive time on tedious planning.
