Keling AI eyes hong kong IPO as generative AI commercialization gains momentum
Keling AI, an AI video service provider under Kuaishou Technology, is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong, with plans to raise at least $1 billion. The company has selected China International Capital Corporation, Goldman Sachs, and UBS as underwriters, aiming to complete the listing by 2026. Although details remain under discussion, the move has drawn significant attention from the capital market and tech industry.
In July of this year, Keling AI raised nearly $3 billion in a funding round led by CPE Yuanfeng, Guofang Venture Capital, BlueFive, Tencent, Zhongguancun Science City Fund, and CITIC Securities. Notable investors included Alibaba Cloud, Baidu, Huacui Film, and Mango Industry Investors. The global generative AI competition is shifting toward commercialization and capital operations, with Keling AI’s potential IPO seen as a benchmark case for domestic generative AI companies entering the secondary market.
