Komikku, a leading comics platform, has launched Livo, its new AI-native entertainment product, on app stores and is currently in internal testing. The product, which features a concept video, is being made available to invited creators and AI industry users through invitation codes, with expanded access planned later. Livo is positioned as a 'Digital Life System,' designed to give virtual characters a 'soul' through independent personalities, long-term memories, and behavioral logic. The project is overseen by Komikku's founder and CEO, Chen Anni, and its name derives from the keywords Living, World, and Orbit. According to Livo's product manager, the initiative is in its early exploration phase, focusing on 'characters with souls' and their long-term memory, behavior, and relationship paths. Future plans include advancing to a 'living world' where character fate events operate spontaneously, shifting stories from pre-set scripts to naturally emerging narratives through user interaction. This strategy marks a shift in consumer-level AI from one-way dialogue to a content ecosystem with long-term memory and self-operation capabilities, introducing a new paradigm for virtual IPs and immersive interactive entertainment.
