M-robots os 3.0 beta launch marks shift to group intelligence in robotics
On August 29, 2026, during the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo in Guiyang, Shengkaihong's Chief Vice President and R&D System President, Wang Hao, announced the release of M-Robots OS 3.0 Beta. This version marks a shift from single-machine capabilities to group intelligence, building a secure, real-time, and trustworthy distributed robotics operating system. The update focuses on four key areas: security, real-time performance, group intelligence, and digital infrastructure. Wang Hao demonstrated three real-world applications, including unmanned retail, campus patrols, and water quality monitoring, showcasing the system's ability to enable cross-device collaboration and autonomous group operations.
The 3.0 Beta version introduces the Agent Native framework, allowing for human-machine multimodal interaction and autonomous coordination among robots. It also supports multiple architectures and ecosystems, ensuring compatibility with existing applications and developer tools. The system's security features include a unified identity system and trust chain, while its real-time capabilities offer microsecond-level response times. These advancements aim to meet the demands of industrial automation and complex environments.
