Maimai report highlights surge in AI job salaries and positions in 2026

A report by Maimai GaoPin Talent Intelligence Hub reveals that from January to July 2026, the number of new AI positions on the Maimai platform rose by 789.47% compared to the same period in 2025. The average monthly salary for these positions reached 63,160 yuan, up 2.74% from 61,474 yuan in the previous year. Among technical roles, FDE/On-site Deployment Engineer positions saw the highest growth, increasing by 1522.73% year-on-year. Non-technical roles, such as AI Product Manager, also experienced significant growth, with a 120.54% year-on-year increase. The report underscores a rapid expansion in AI-related employment opportunities, driven by growing demand in both technical and non-technical sectors.
