At today's Tencent WorkBuddy ecosystem event, Meizu unveiled its AI Cube concept device, showcasing its potential return. The device runs on Flyme AIOS, integrating smart interaction with WorkBuddy's cloud AI workbench to offer a new AI collaboration experience. Meizu previously introduced the AI Cube at its 2026 Lunar New Year event in January, featuring the T8200 chip and a 4-inch screen. The device was planned to have an advanced AI interface with over 100 expressions and could function as a 'driver robot' in Geely vehicles. However, no further updates were provided until an engineering model was spotted in June. Meanwhile, Tencent WorkBuddy launched its open platform, welcoming over 100 partners to access AI Agent capabilities across hardware, applications, and developers. Nine co-branded smart devices and over 30 industry applications were also introduced, spanning sectors like finance, law, and education.
