Meta broadens muse AI agent to small businesses with new integrations

Meta has expanded its AI agent Muse to small businesses, integrating tools like Shopify, Dropbox, and Slack to help owners manage operations and find new customers. The AI agent provides contextual insights into a business’s operations, brand voice, and customer inquiries. Muse for Small Business is available for free with usage limits, with subscription options for more advanced features. The move aligns with Meta’s push into the enterprise market, following the launch of its Meta Enterprise Platform. Chirantan 'CJ' Desai, former MongoDB CEO, leads the initiative, which aims to bring Meta’s full technology stack to businesses. Muse’s recent launch topped app charts in the U.S. and Canada, outperforming ChatGPT. Meta emphasized that small businesses need efficiency, not just ideas, and Muse is designed to enhance productivity through existing tools. The expansion includes integrations with Asana, Canva, and Stripe, among others. Meta highlighted its focus on providing AI solutions that complement, rather than replace, current business software. The company is investing heavily in AI, with the Enterprise Platform seen as a key part of its strategy to recoup these investments. The initiative builds on Muse’s success and positions Meta to compete with rivals like OpenAI and Google in the enterprise space.
