Meta launches muse code as full-featured AI programming tool with subscription plans
Meta has officially launched Muse Code, its AI programming tool, after concluding its Beta testing phase. The tool now includes new features such as inter-session messaging, workflow automation, and a 'rewind' function for command-line interfaces. Meta also released an SDK preview and introduced subscription tiers to enhance user accessibility. Muse Code now supports complex multi-session and multi-agent engineering tasks, with installation available via a terminal command on macOS and Linux. Users can log in using Meta Model API accounts, though compatibility requirements must be met.
The inter-session messaging feature allows sessions to communicate directly, reducing the need for manual data transfer between terminals. The Workflow feature enables users to deploy multiple agents for complex projects, with 'ultra' settings triggering frequent workflow execution. The Rewind function lets users revert to earlier session states with a double Esc key press, but only to safe checkpoints confirmed by the system.
Subscription plans include Everyday Usage at $5/month, High Usage at $15/month, and Power Usage at $50/month, offering varying levels of access, request limits, and exclusive features.
