Meta unveils ray-ban gen 3 smart glasses with new styles and lower prices

Meta has launched the Ray-Ban Gen 3 smart glasses, featuring a lower starting price and a wider range of styles. At Meta Connect 2026, CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduced the Adventurer model, priced at $249. The new collection includes 51 style combinations, adjustable temple tips, and enhanced audio capabilities. The glasses incorporate Dolby Atmos spatial audio, which aims to preserve the sense of sound direction, and six microphones to capture voice clearly in noisy environments. Zuckerberg highlighted the feature with an example of taking a call on a jet ski. The collection also expands to include Ray-Ban Aviators, the Zena style, and a 90th-anniversary Aviator limited edition. Additionally, Meta is collaborating with Lisa from Blackpink on special editions and Kylie Jenner on a new ivory color. These updates aim to improve the practicality and affordability of the smart glasses.
