Microsoft introduces 50% discounts and super AI apps for Copilot

Microsoft is set to roll out significant discounts for enterprise customers adopting Copilot, with potential reductions of up to 50% on AI subscriptions. According to The Information, the company has informed its sales team about these pricing changes, which are expected to take effect as early as October. Enterprises purchasing 1,000 or more licenses will receive a 30% discount, while those buying 10,000 or more licenses could see discounts as high as 50%. The company also plans to enhance Copilot by introducing a 'super AI app' that integrates AI programming tools and similar capabilities to OpenClaw. This application will serve as an automation platform, capable of executing multi-step tasks, calling tools, and assisting with software development, thereby embedding AI into existing enterprise workflows. The new tool will support Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, offering features like content generation and summarization.
