Microsoft reveals Azure revenue of $33.2 billion, outpacing google cloud

Microsoft disclosed Azure's quarterly revenue for the July–September period as $33.2 billion, marking a 48% year-over-year increase. This marks the first time the company has shared Azure's actual revenue figures. Azure now constitutes 36% of Microsoft's $92.3 billion quarterly revenue, making it the company's largest and fastest-growing product line. Alphabet reported Google Cloud revenue of $30.7 billion for the same quarter, slightly behind Azure. However, Google Cloud's 100% year-over-year growth outpaced Azure's 48% growth. Azure's revenue exceeded analyst expectations by $850 million. The cloud division is part of Microsoft's new Agents and Infra segment, which generated $76.8 billion, up 25% from the previous year. Amazon Web Services, which reports earnings on Thursday, is expected to continue its growth as the leading cloud provider.
